The academy has big news for 2023. Its annual award show is headed to Texas for just the second time in more than half a century, and we can take you there. For 2023, the party is headed to an all-new venue, the 12,000-seat Ford Center located in The Star, a Cowboy’s-affiliated sports and entertainment complex just 25 minutes north of Dallas. Naturally, anticipation is already high for this celebration of the best of the best in country music. Nothing is quite like being a part of such a fabulous festival. Those of you who were there last year vividly remember Dolly Parton, Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett gracefully sharing the hosting duties plus the endless live performances. You can bet your turquoise Tony Lama boots that the ante will be raised once again with high-voltage bedazzled suits and a never-ending stream of your favorite stars.

Every year, the show outdoes itself, and this year will be no exception. The academy works with elite audiovisual partners to achieve extraordinary production standards, and a good time is had by all. Even nominees who don’t win have a blast at the ACMs. They might be disappointed, but they still have a great time being part of this assembly of masterful musicians.
Fortunately, at this award show, it doesn’t really matter who wins. All the nominees will be there with their entourage and significant others. Everyone is treated to spectacular performances from superstars like Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton and the Brothers Osborne. It doesn’t get bigger or better than that in country music or any genre!
Award-Winning Country Music
At last year’s show, Miranda Lambert claimed a big award for Entertainer of the Year. Newcomer Carly Pearce became Female Artist of the Year. Morgan Wallen, our nominee for hunk of the year, reeled in an award for Album of the Year for “Dangerous.”
